The 2-axis optical scanner galvanometer can be used to deflect a laser beam in X and Y directions. This produces a two-dimensional area allowing a laser to be directed at any position. This area is known as the “marking field” as shown in the diagram. Deflection is performed by two mirrors, each of which is moved by a galvanometer scanner. The deflection unit has a beam input, into which the laser beam is fed, and a beam output, through which a laser beam is emitted from the unit after deflection. CY-Cube10 galvo scan head is new design with metal shell and high speed which can be used for fly marking.

The working principle of galvo laser marking is that the laser beam is incident on two mirrors (scanning X / Y mirrors), and the reflection angle of the mirrors is controlled by a computer software, and the two mirrors can be scanned along the X and Y axes respectively, so as to achieve the deflection of the laser beam and make the laser focus with a certain power density move on the marked material as required, thus leaving a permanent mark on the material surface.

Galvanometer (Galvo) is an electromechanical instrument that deflects a light beam by using a mirror, meaning that it has sensed an electric current. When it comes to laser, Galvo systems use mirror technology to move the laser beam in different directions by rotating and adjusting mirror angles within the boundaries of a work area. Galvo lasers are ideal for using fast speed and intricate fine detailed marking and engraving.

This galvo head is 10mm (compatible with 1064nm / 355nm / 532nm / 10.6um mirrors), uses digital driver, fully self-developed driver/ control algorithm/ motor. Strong interference resist performance, high speed, high precision, suitable for precision marking and welding, marking on the fly, etc. With high-cost performance, it can be widely used for normal laser marking and engraving.

Galvo systems are available for different laser types, such as Fiber Laser, sealed CO2, and UV, giving you the possibility of choosing the laser light according to your needs.
